Day 15

Boy, will I be sore tomorrow! After a productive day of work, I met up with an old co-worker for a few laps around the skating rink. Tracy has been getting into roller derby and showed me a few slick moves. (Which I executed like a penguin with no balance.)

When we first arrived, the place was packed - PACKED - with little kids. Then we saw that there was an "adult" skate starting at 9:30. And what precedes "adult" skating better than anything else? Adult beverages! We took a short trip over to Northside Tavern and enjoyed a drink and some time to chat. I was grateful to have that hour or so to talk and catch up. Especially when we got back to the skating and Tracy started putting the derby moves on me. I didn't stand a chance for polite conversation.
