Day 33

Today was Thursday. Today was sitting in Redtree, sketching and planning new art. Today was thrift store hunting for artifacts. And tonight was date night; a fabulous dinner at York Street Cafe with smoked salmon and Trivial Pursuit cards. Home for wine and movie time.

Day 32

Happy February!!

This marks the first day of my Birthday Month. And what a gorgeous day it was!

In the afternoon, I met up with a friend for lunch to catch up since all of her world traveling. It was sweet to see what's happening in her life and get excited for all of the new things coming her way!

In the evening, had my small group at our house. These ladies... I love them. This was our first meeting talking about our new read, and whew! It took us pretty deep. God is moving so beautifully in all of our lives, and it's so gratifying to see Him at work in people I love.

Day 31

I had been planning on hanging out with my mom this day, but it turned out that my Aunt Chris was in town, so I got to hang out with both of them! Chris treated us to a wonderfully French lunch, with wine of course. We then wondered all over the tri-county area looking for a Jo-Ann's Superstore, and finally found one in Colerain where I stocked up on paper. It's so much fun hanging out with those ladies, no matter what we're doing!

Day 30

Really? Is it only Day 30?


Not much to report for this mild Monday. It's crazy warm for January. I saw it get up to 68 degrees on my car thermometer. 


Got lots of work finished and shipped out (with plans to hang out with mi madre manana.) 


Had a Zumba buddy! Alison joined me in some booty shakin' sweatin' and it was kickin' good times!

Day 29

Another lazy day, spent mostly inside, on the couch. That's what Sundays are for, yes?

Day 28

Paper streamers littering the living room furniture. Empty beer bottles stacked in the recycle bin like fallen soldiers. Bits of cheese, cracker crumbs, and melted ice cream puddles scattered over the kitchen floor. The remnants of festivities well-enjoyed.

And I'm not getting off this couch all day!

Hooray for lazy Saturdays.

Day 27

Adam's birthday party went smashingly! It was great to see his friends come celebrate with my old man. <3
